» Primary School

Starting primary school is a huge milestone in the life of any child, but is often even more momentous for multiples. Parents may face the difficult decision of whether to keep their multiples in the same class or separate them. There is really no right or wrong answer here and what is right for one set of twins will not necessarily be right for another. You can ask your children's playschool teachers for their advice. Several IMBA members have shared their own experience of their multiples starting school - you can read their stories in our members' only section.

IMBA members can avail of a discount on schoolbooks with www.schoolbooksireland.ie, and don't forget you can get a discount on shoes for all the children in the family with Clarks.

IMBA continue to offer support to parents of multiples right through primary school and beyond.
